NAWBO's Registration Policies
Early Bird Registration includes a $10 discount up to approximately 5 business days before the event. The late registration date will be listed below with each event. Walk-ins will incur an additional $10 walk-in fee on top of the $10 late fee. Checks are accepted as payment and can be mailed to NAWBO, 2400 Boston Street, Suite 102, Baltimore, MD 21224. BE SURE TO INDICATE WHICH EVENT YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR! Checks postmarked by the late registration deadline will not incur a late fee. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash as payment.
Refund Policy: Refund Requests sent in writing to info@nawbobrc.org prior to 5 business days of the event date will be given credit to the next meeting.

Traci A. Barnett, MBA, Chief Executive Officer, Girl Scouts of Central Maryland
Traci A. Barnett has been in the nonprofit field for over 20 years working for both healthcare and service organizations. Barnett has held several key executive and director level positions with such organizations as the Easter Seal Society, Arthritis Foundation and Visiting Nurse Association. In her current position she is the chief executive officer of Girl Scouts of Central Maryland, the preeminent organization for girls, providing leadership programs to over 26,000 girls in Baltimore city and the five surrounding counties.
Under Barnett’s leadership Girl Scouts of Central Maryland has developed a premier STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) program for girls in the region through partnerships with the NASA Goddard Space Center, Johns Hopkins University, Northrop Grumman, UMBC, Lockheed Martin and TechBridge. In October 2010 Girl Scouts of Central Maryland celebrated the grand opening of their Urban Program Center in Baltimore city featuring a multimedia center, dance studio, learning kitchen, and a STEM Center with state of the art technology and high tech program options including robotics.
Additionally, Girl Scouts of Central Maryland provides a myriad of programs for at-risk girls in Baltimore city with programs such as PAVE the Way Baltimore, an anti-bullying initiative that reaches several thousand youth each year, as well as in-school programs in some of Baltimore’s toughest city schools. Girl Scouts of Central Maryland received the prestigious Standards for Excellence Accreditation from the Maryland Association of Non Profit Organizations (MANO) in 2007, a designation received by less than 1% of nonprofits in the state of Maryland. In 2009 Girl Scouts of Central Maryland received the Maryland Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Community Partner Award and the Network 2000 Business 2000 Award.
