The NAWBO Baltimore Regional Chapter has established several strategic alliances with community partners to further the education and expand the opportunities for our local chapter members.

United States Small Business Administration (SBA)
The purpose of the Strategic Alliance with the SBA is to develop and foster a mutual understanding and a working relationship between the SBA and NAWBO in order to strengthen and expand small business development in the local area. Through this alliance, the SBA provides:

  • Information on programs and events
  • Speakers for NAWBO events
  • Upon request, information regarding SBA's resource partners, including but not limited to, the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), SCORE, and the Women's Business Centers (WBO) (collectively, "SBA's Resource Partners")
WBENC certification through WPEO.

Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
The purpose of the Strategic Alliance with WBENC is to provide access to meetings and information for our members and to encourage our members to obtain WBENC certification. WBENC leadership is invited to attend our meetings and events and member rates.

World Trade Center Institute (WTCI)
The purpose of the Strategic Alliance with WTCI is to develop and foster a mutual understanding and a working relationship between the WTCI and NAWBO in order to strengthen and expand opportunities for women business owners on an international level and to encourage membership in each organization.
